Job description for UI/UX Designer at MultitudeX Pte. Ltd.
We are looking for a creative and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team. The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and easy-to-use interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights for design improvements.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field/experience.
- Proven UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, Photoshop).
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- [Good to have; not required] Knowledge/familiarity of Tech Stack: Vue.js, Python, PostgreSQL and AWS.
