Position Overview:
Join NalaGenetics as a Medical Affairs Officer, where you'll lead efforts to ensure top-tier medical services and drive strategic initiatives for enhanced patient satisfaction and operational excellence. Your multifaceted role includes providing medical care, coordinating clinical activities, and fostering employee development, all while aligning with company directives and community health goals. As a liaison between healthcare professionals and the public, you'll deliver educational talks on genetic tests and support sales and marketing endeavors through participation in events. With responsibilities spanning recruitment, training, scientific review, and collaborative content creation, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the clinic's success and advancing healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Doctor in the NalaCare Clinic:
- Provide medical services to Clinic’s clients
- Create risk mitigation plans for the clinic given the changing requirements
- Coordinate medical service activities together with related clinical staff
- Fostering employees/clinical employees in the medical department in carrying out their daily tasks together with the related team
- Conduct cross-sectoral coordination in health development efforts in the work area where the clinic is located.
- Develop planning for clinical activities with the assistance of clinic staff and NRI to align with the company's directions and initiatives
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for clinic personnel
- Gather and analyze patient feedback, using the insights to formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing overall patient satisfaction.
- Oversee and evaluate the quality of services delivered within the clinic, ensuring adherence to established standards and continuous improvement
- Report on program activities requested by the City Health Office or the Puskesmas where the Clinic is located
- Fostering service officers in improving service quality
- Writing and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures for medical and non-medical services performed at the Clinic
- Monitor the entire implementation of medical activities/programs
- Monitor the implementation of activities in the clinic
As Medical Affairs:
- Recruitment and onboarding of consultants
- Deliver educational talks about genetic tests to healthcare professionals or the public
- Support sales and marketing in medical affairs-related events (e.g. round table discussions, webinars, pitches)
- Train new consultants on the scientific background of the product, report reading, pre-test consultation, and post-test consultation
- participate in the review of products’ scientific evidence
- Participate in the review of training and marketing materials.
- Participate in the writing and review of manuscripts and whitepapers
Minimum Qualifications:
A medical doctor with active STR
Experience Required:
Experience in healthcare is preferable
Technical Skills:
- Training in lifestyle medicine, functional medicine, and health coaching is preferred
- Interest in the field of genetics, preventive healthcare, nutrition, and wellness
- Operations role in the healthcare industry
- Good business communication skills
- Proactive and able to convey opinions
